The benchmark equity indices embraced the state assembly outcomes with open hands and posted an all-time high opening on Monday. The SE Nifty is trading at a record high of 20,639.55, up 371.65 points or 1.83%, while the Sensex trades at 68,703.12, up 1,221.93 points or 1.81% during the intra-day trade on Monday. The broader indices are trading in the green, with gains led by Nifty Next 50 and Nifty 100. The Bank Nifty index is trading at 46,154.20, up 1340 points or 3%. PSU Bank, Oil & Gas, Private Bank, Financial Services, and Realty stocks are leading the gains among the other sectoral indices, while Media and Pharma stocks are facing a northward trend.
