India weather update- IMD predicts hailstorm in THESE states; Punjab, Haryana to see dense fog – Check full forecast here

In its latest weather forecast, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said that there is an induced Cyclonic Circulation over West Rajasthan and its vicinity in the lower tropospheric levels.

In its December 23 press release, the agency said that light to moderate rainfall at isolated places is very likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry & Karaikal, Kerala & Mahe and Lakshadweep area during next five days. It also said that light to moderate rainfall is expected at isolated spots in Northeast India for the next three days. It added that there is a possibility of isolated thunderstorms with hail storms over Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on December 24.
Change in minimum temperature
Northwest India was expected to experience a decrease of approximately 2-3°C in minimum temperatures over 24 hours, with no significant change thereafter. Minimum temperatures in the remaining parts of the country are likely to remain relatively stable over the next 4-5 days with no significant variation, the release said.
