The University of Sheffield announces the Delhi Public School Society (DPS) Undergraduate Merit Scholarship designed for Indian students. This award, valued at £10,000, will be granted through a reduction in tuition fees for eligible candidates enrolled in an undergraduate degree programme commencing in autumn 2024, according to an official statement.
Prospective applicants must submit their applications by April 22, 2024, at 1 pm (UK time). Subsequently, the recipients of the scholarship will be revealed on May 15, 2024. Successful applicants will be required to confirm their acceptance of the scholarship offer, the statement mentioned.
Self-funding is a prerequisite for tuition fee purposes and candidates must be eligible to pay the overseas tuition fee. Sponsored students are not eligible to apply. Additionally, applicants must enroll in a degree programme at the University of Sheffield in either year one or year two. March programmes are classified as postgraduate taught programmes for scholarship purposes and do not qualify for any undergraduate scholarships.
New students enrolling in the University in 2024 from a Delhi Public School Society (DPS) institution in India are eligible for this scholarship. Prospective applicants must possess an offer of admission to the University of Sheffield prior to submitting their scholarship application, it added.
