The cat is out of the bag. The Realme 12 Pro series 5G is confirmed to launch in India in January and indeed, one of the phones under the line-up, will have a periscope-style telephoto camera. Presumably, it should be the Realme 12 Pro Plus.
Realme has been teasing the “periscope” camera for sometime now, through a dedicated website as well as social media posts. The capability is being billed as the next big step over something like a 200-megapixel camera sensor, found on the Realme 11 Pro Plus. This new upcoming Realme phone will be the first Realme phone in India in four years to have a periscope camera. The last being 2020’s Realme X3 SuperZoom.

Internet is rife with a poster that suggests a Rolex edition for the Realme 12 Pro Plus maybe in the works but we will see.
