The Congress on Thursday released the roadmap for the upcoming ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ which will begin from Imphal in Manipur and culminate in Maharashtra’s Mumbai.
Rahul Gandhi will undertake the Bharat Jodo Yatra 2.0 from January 14 spanning across 15 states, 66 days (approx.) and nearly 6,700 km. The yatra is scheduled to end on March 20.

— Congress (@INCIndia) January 4, 2024In the upcoming yatra, the states that will be covered are – Manipur, Nagaland, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra.
Announcing the Bharat Nyay Yatra at a press conference in New Delhi on December 27, Congress general secretary (organisation) KC Venugopal said that at the meeting of the Congress Working Committee (CWC) on December 21, a unanimous opinion was shared that Rahul should embark on the second phase of his Bharat Jodo Yatra from East to West.

The Bharat Nyay Yatra comes at a crucial time as it would conclude just ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, even though the Congress reiterated that just like Bharat Jodo Yatra, Bharat Nyay Yatra will not be a political rally.
The Bharat Jodo Yatra that ended in January last year in Kashmir’s Srinagar was instantly followed by the Congress party’s victory in theHimachal Pradesh elections and then the recently held polls in Karnataka.
