The MoU, signed between KMRL MD Loknath Behera and Infopark CEO Susanth Kurunthil, outlines plans to establish flexible workspaces spanning 39,880 square feet across six floors of the Ernakulam South Metro station.
The agreement, solidified at a ceremony in KMRL Corporate Office, anticipates generating 500 job opportunities. Describing the proposed facility at Ernakulam South Metro station, the release from Infopark underscores the evolution of co-working spaces with a rising demand post-Covid.
The infrastructure is set to be completed by October 2024, providing not only office facilities but also additional features such as pantry areas, event spaces, and parking areas.
The integrated nature of these premium workspaces ensures more convenience and safety for employees who utilize multiple modes of transportation.
Boosting Kerala’s IT EcosystemHighlighting the significance of decentralizing the IT industry, Loknath Behera emphasizes that bringing IT infrastructure to the Metro building enhances the sector’s growth.
The move ensures safe, secure, reliable, comfortable, and seamless connectivity for the IT workforce, fostering a conducive environment for progress in Kerala’s advanced state.
